I’ve been wandering around some WordPress blogs, passively skimming through what people have written lately. I clicked on Jeff Nguyen’s link to here. You grabbed my attention. I sat up, reread what you wrote.
Pedestals and Petals are two words that sound similar. I like how you brought out further similarity between them. Each of your lines is loaded.

Thank you very much for the wonderful compliment! I appreciate your comment about the loaded lines in “Pedestals and Petals” because that was my intent (and usually is with the shorter pieces). I want readers to forget that someone else wrote it in the hopes that they can see themselves in it, reflect on it as if they know exactly what it means and is an extension of their feelings or thoughts, or just read, smile and carry on. 🙂
